So now I have about 500 end points with Cylance installed and I'm struggling to find a way to uninstall it from a single one of them. I try running those with various tags, without tags, blah blah blah - nope, same errors telling me to contact support. Ok, let's check their public KB/community. nope, you need a contract for that as well. but they bury that option and if you don't have an active contract with them: good luck! So then I figured I'd check their KB. You can't go and just simply uninstall because no matter what account you use, you get an error and it simply says you need to contact support. We've since moved to another AV vendor so now I'm looking to remove the CylancePROTECT client from endpoints and it's damn near impossible. ![]() Blackberry took them over and their support is now non-existent, their KB is locked behind a paywall, they provide almost zero meaningful documentation for anything outside of installing the client which is something we all could figure out in our sleep. No issues, it worked phenomenally and Support was okay. I've used Cylance for the better part of the last 5-7 years and at first, it was GREAT. and anybody out there who is considering picking up a Blackberry/Cylance solution, please really consider your options. ![]()
